In 1840 the talented jeweler, Karl Faberge, started his career in St. Petersburg, Russia. Among the most sought after items in his collections were small egg pendants. Working in enamel, crystal, and precious metals, Russian artisans are again creating these beautiful pendants in the same location where Karl Faberge founded the tradition.
